I’m a mommy of 4, I’m at 160 or so and wanting to get down to 125. My youngest is 10 mo old & I still nurse her, not exclusively, she’s on solids & I work FT. I was doing my biggest loser workout and went from 18 down to 14, but we have moved & its now in storage unit w/ our belongings. I drink water ALL day, I sit at a computer 8 hrs a day 5 days a week, I”m thinking maybe if I wear 5 lb ankle weights that will help to lose the rest of it. But I’m not sure what to eat! I dont have time to workout, I come home, help w/ dinner/clean up, spend time/take care of our children, then go to bed. No time whatsoever. Not to mention that we live w/ my husbands aunt, in a split level home, we have our own room, and our children sleep on a hideabed couch. our 10 mo old sleeps w/ us. I nurse her mainly at night or cuddle time. So I’m not worried about getting the vitamins she needs in the breast milk, since she does solids. SHould I do weight watchers? Can I just find how many points I can have a day & just buy food…would that work??? I want to be toned also, I used to be a 6, but just slim no tonement to me…Please give advice…but no gimmicks on pills. I have thot about slimquick or something, but I’m still nursing. No trying to get me to buy this or that..just advice from one mommy to another. Thanks

    I had my 4th baby in May. I have lost 37lbs. since then. I take a brisk walk for an hour in the morning, and again for an hour at night. I eat a lot of raw fruits and vegetables, and drink 2L of water a day. I found that really commiting to my plan is the key to losing the weight and keeping it off-

  2. hi cathy! well first of all i gained 80 pounds during my pregnancy and only lost 35 pounds so far.. i feel like a moose.. i am not currently nursing but i am not going to lean towards pills either. well this is what i have been doing and lost 5 pounds so far in couple of weeks. i hope you like lemon.. ( i like lemon so it was easy for me) every cup of water is oz of fresh squeezed lemon juice. make a large pitch ( in your case a bottle since you are at work most time) just drink every time you can.. i try to finished about 1 liter a day. i was told to add little of honey to take the bitterness away. so you can add little bit of honey but not to make it sweet. when you buy lemon pick ones that are soft not hard.. squeezing hard lemon is a pain.. ( btw you need a lemon squeezer since you will be about dozen a day)

    citrus helps cut fats you consume everyday and helps regulate bowel movement.

    This may sound stupid… but I lost it with a baby wrap. I wore my first child till he was 2. So think about it this way, it’s like wearing those leg weights during the day. Plus I was able to do things around the house and even go for a nice walk with him on me. At my 6 week check up I was 6 pounds less then before I got pregnant…Not the same size mind you, but the same weight.
    Try a hot momma wrap or an Ellaroo, or even a Maya I have heard positive things about them.

    I just find that you can spend quality time with the kids, clean, cook and do what ever you need to do with extra hands.
